Reading Reactions: "When Words Get in the Way"

When I was going to High School, I decided to take Spanish. My mother speaks it has her second language, but never taught me. As a freshmen I took Intro to Spanish. I didn't know anything except "Hola." Everything about it was hard to learn, but I eventually learned more of it. There are still some words that I don't know, and that is probably all the new words that I haven't ever heard of. My first time learning to speak Spanish was hard. The hardest was having to pronounce all the words with all the accents and the rolled "R's." In the end, I finally got the reading and writing down, but not the speaking-with-other-people-who-speak-any-Spanish.
